After government crash testing by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the 2017 Envision emerged with an overall score of five stars. This is the highest possible rating a vehicle can earn in NHTSA testing.

This is not the first time the Envision has earned the highest possible score in a safety test. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the Envision the designation of Top Safety Pick+. This is the highest designation awarded by the IIHS and a very prestigious safety award.

2017 Buick Envision Safety Features and Technologies

The standard and available safety features offered on the 2017 Envision utilize a combination of 13 radar and ultrasonic sensors and five cameras. The Envision offers features like OnStar, all-wheel drive, a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alerts, a blind-zone monitor, front collision alerts, lane keeping assist, front parking sensors, a safety alert driver seats, forward collision mitigation system and a surround view camera.

These features help to supplement the Envision’s standard set of equipment. Every Envision comes equipped with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, side and full-length side curtain airbags and front seat knee airbags.

Ford announces new engine options for the 2018 F-150

2018 Ford F-150 New Engine Options Fans of the Ford F-150 will be happy to know that information on the 2018 model of the iconic truck has been released. This includes information on multiple new engine options that will be offered on the 2018 F-150. So what are the 2018 Ford F-150 new engine options? 2018 Ford F-150 Engine Options and Performance The changes to the F-150 engine lineup begin right away. Base models will now be equipped with a 3.3-liter direct-injection V-6 engine. This engine replaces the outgoing 3.5-liter V-6 that was standard on previous F-150 models.2018 Ford F-150 interior Ford is expecting performance numbers on the 3.3-liter to be similar to the 282 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque produced by the 3.5-liter engine. However, the direct-injection and slightly smaller size of the new engine is expected to increase efficiency. The remaining gasoline engines offered on the 2018 F-150 will be familiar, but there will be slight changes. And all-new version of Ford’s 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 will be offered along with the returning 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 5.0-liter V-8. All of the engine’s have been updated and upgraded for the new model year. New F-150 Diesel Engine With all do respect to the 3.3-liter V-6, the real highlight of the 2018 F-150 new engine lineup will be Ford’s all-new 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine. This will be the first time the F-150 will be offered with a diesel engine. All of the F-150 engine options will be offered with Ford’s new 10-speed automatic transmission and an automatic start/stop feature designed to maximize performance and fuel economy. Chevrolet Debuts the 2018 Traverse

What will be new on the 2018 Chevy Traverse? Crossover are flooding the market right now. These vehicle draw in customers with the sheer amount of versatility they have to offer. One of the standouts in this class has been the Chevrolet Traverse. Traverse fans will be eager to know when they can expect a new version of their favorite crossover. The new model of the Traverse has just been revealed. So what will be new on the 2018 Chevy Traverse? 2018 Traverse New Engine A new engine will be offered on the 2018 Chevy Traverse. The crossover can be equipped with a new 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Performance numbers are not yet available on the new engine, but Chevy is anticipating a 10 percent increase in horsepower and fuel economy estimates checking in at around 25 miles per gallon highway. The new RS trim will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
